Following your very distinctive style of photography, this picture is a bit different than the rest. The white background causes a subtle relaxed atmosphere in comparison to the more gravitating black background. The black and white in this picture isn't so much black and white, but more a very subtle scale of greytones, which is always pleasing and recognizable. The pose of the model isn't offensive/strong. Together with the pretty young face of the model this picture is a bit more geared towards the natural beauty of a woman than your other photographs. The lighting and posing creates a depth in a interesting way. The foreground is darker than the background. With the dark curved ribbons this creates a small effect of reversed fore- and background. That is what makes this picture a picture on its own.
I have always liked you photo work but as you continue to work it becomes more and more compelling! I love your mixture of textures, poses, use of objects and clarity of photo. Very nice work. Can't wait to see more!!
Alfred I'm always in awe of your lighting ability. The way you can get such balance with multiple lights has always been beyond me. I guess that's why I happily stick to daylight shooting with my nudes. Speaking of the nude I love this lady and next time I'm in Austria I'm going to beg you to get me in contact with her. I don't think you can take a bad picture of the lady.
